Overview

This was our third visit to Ty Glyn Davis Trust and have booked again for next year. Ty Glyn is fully wheelchair accessible. Bathing facilities are brilliant. The main bathroom is fully equipped with a H Frame hoist, spa bath , shower chair , shower and a full sized shower bed. It is also very spacious. The kitchen and lounge area are also very spacious and very well equipped. A mobile hoist is also available, as is an adjustable bed with padded bedsides. The garden is also wheelchair accessible and a lovely place to relax. Parking space for several cars / vans.

Transport & Parking

Large space for parking several vehicles. Bus stop 10 minutes walk , no pavement and along a narrow country lane. Not much passing traffic. Bus service was reliable and a good service to surrounding areas.

Access

Wheelchair user had own vehicle so never traveled on public transport although other members of our party used the local bus service daily. Access throughout Ty Glyn Davis Trust is very good for wheelchair users. The Secret Garden is wheelchair accessible and is a lovely place to visit. A short path from Ty Glyn Davis Trust leads you to the Secret Garden.

Toilets

Four toilets available throughout Ty Glyn Davis Trust. One being "super" accessible. It has plenty of space for wheelchair users and carers. Grab rails and commode also provided if needed.

I would fully recommend Ty Glyn Davis Trust. We go for our extended family holiday and our ages range from 13 to 76. Something to do for everyone and suitable for many different disabilities. Wi Fi has just been introduced to Ty Glyn Davis Trust.
