Leeds Victoria Quarter is really made up of three interconnected Victorian arcades, with the County Arcade running parallel to the main Victoria Quarter walkway and the Cross Arcade running across the two and connecting them in the middle. There are lots of high-end shops, but I was more than happy to just look at the gorgeous, colourful decorations along the walls and ceiling and gaze out into the sky through the impressive vaulted and domed glass ceilings. While I would not make a trip specifically to visit Victoria Quarter, I definitely recommend popping in to admire the architecture if you are already in Leeds city centre anyways.

There are entrances to Victoria Quarter and County Arcade on Briggate and Vicar Lane and an entrance on Albion Place opposite Fish Street to Cross Arcade. The entrances are either open or have automatic sliding doors. Coming from Briggate, the walk along Victoria and County Arcade is a bit downhill; coming from Vicar Lane, there is a slight incline towards Briggate. Most of the shops have a step or at least a lip up to their entrances. Some of them might have portable ramps, but did not ask about it. Some were low enough that I could have possibly made it up them in my powerchair, but I did not feel brave (or interested) enough to try. There is some cushioned bench seating in the main walkway of Victoria Quarter and more seating belonging to the gastronomy there, but not a lot of seating in the rest of the arcades.

The closest bus stops are Corn Exchange (2, 3 3A, 51, 52, 164, 165, 168) or Victoria (7, 7A, 7S, 56, 64, 116, 200, 201, 202, 203, 229, 254, 255) on Vicar Lane, which are about 100–150 metres from the entrance. The bus stops on Headrow (1, 22, 25, 28, 38, 39, 42, 49, 50, 50A) are only slightly further. Leeds bus station is a 5-minute/0.3-mile walk or wheel and the train station is a 11-minute/0.5-mile walk or wheel away. There is barely any on-street parking in the area. If you are travelling by car, your best bet would be the paid multi-storey car parks in the area, for example the closest of which is probably Victoria, The Core or Albion Street.
