A wheelchair accessible cinema that has very friendly and supportive staff members to assist its customers. Very spacious cinema venue with lots of space and is very easy to move a wheelchair around and position in front of cinema screen. A very good amount of disabled parking spaces in all the different levels of Parking at the Avenues mall in Kuwait. Spacious wheelchair accessible toilets with grab rails and lots of room for movement in the cinema toilets as well as the mall in general. Elevator transport to cinema area from lower ground.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
individuals needing disabled access will have no difficulties navigating their way through the mall and cinema as there are elevators everywhere, there are wheelchair ramps situated at every entrance and then flat ground throughout the mall to make transportation smoother and easier for the individuals and their families. All the elevators have Braille by the button for individuals who need it. The mall and cinema area have benches and seating areas everywhere and easily accessible for people incase they grow tired and in need of some rest.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
The Mall which the cinema is located in, has various parking lots each with plenty of disabled parking spots right in front of the mall entrance which is very convenient for the individuals using the space. Once inside the mall, elevators can be found almost everywhere and an elevator can be taken to reach the cinema on the top floor.
Accessible Toilets
Excellent
All the toilets have a disabled loo, which is spacious and has grab rails with its own private sink. The wheelchair can move around easily without feeling tight or inclosed and if a carer is needed there would be enough space for two people. The grab rails by the toilet make it easier for the individuals to support themselves when independently using the toilet. The accessible toilets are always the cleanest.
Staff
Excellent
The staff all over the mall but more specifically the cinema are very helpful and attentive to all your needs and wishes. There always is staff around so you will never have to go looking around for one, there will always be more than one person available. They are very helpful with finding the theatre room and locating your designated seats and space.
Additional Information
I would recommend this cinema and mall to a lot of people because it is a wonderful experience, it is very spacious so you will never feel tight and inclosed and is in general a fun destination for family and friends.
