This is a great Mexican restaurant beside Covent Gardens.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
There is level access to this venue however, you have to manually open the door. I didn’t see a bell to ring for a staff member to open the door for you. When you enter you either go down a flight of stairs to the restaurant or use the lift. There is a slight lip to get up into the lift but it is flat to get out again when you get to the bottom, you can hopefully see from the image below and I will try to upload a video to show. You can only get a wheelchair user and one other person in the lift at a time and you have to hold the button down to use the lift. When we used the lift the light wasn’t working but the staff said it is getting fixed. We also struggled to get out of the lift when we got down, the lift door wouldn't open. We had to wait for a staff member to help us out. The tables were reasonably spaced out in the restaurant but staff members were on hand to move chairs if necessary. I didn’t really like the table we were sat at as it felt more like a table for 2 and I didn’t like facing strangers whilst I ate. I would say though that the tables were at a good height for wheelchair users.
Parking & Transport
0I can’t comment on the parking and transport because I got the train to Waterloo train station and walked around London all afternoon.
Accessible Toilets
Average
The toilet was just a standard accessible toilet, you’d only be able to transfer from the left-hand side of the toilet as it is closer to the wall on the other side. There are grab rails at the toilet however, it is quite small inside. If you have a larger wheelchair you might struggle to transfer and have help from someone.
Staff
Good
All staff were very friendly and they helped us understand some of the dishes on the menu.
Additional Information
The food was delicious, if you don’t have a big appetite I’d recommend just one small plate or maybe just sharing a few. I would say our drinks weren’t as cold as I would of hoped.
