Overview
Disabled fairly well catered for - except for parking. A spread out site means long walks between facilities. Cramped restaurant. People lovely.
Transport & Parking
Only really accessible by car or taxi. There are only about a dozen disabled parking spaces (with extra spacing at the sides), plus a handful of 'normal' spaces marked for disabled. Unlike some other Warner locations, parking spaces are not linked to individual disabled rooms, so it's first come, first served (and many disabled people stay on site through the day) so there's no regular turnover. Otherwise parking is spread out over the site, some quite tight - especially with the trend to autobesity.
Access
Whilst there are ramps and slopes making virtually everywhere accessible, it's a large, spread out site, so distances are a factor - eg from rooms to the restaurant or reception. Hard work for slow walkers and wheelchair pushers. We were glad we took my wife's mobility scooter. (I believe that there may be some mobility scooters to hire.) Restaurant is very large and noisy, with tables quite close together. Difficult to manoeuvre with a rollator and impossible with a wheelchair unless you get allocated a table near the entrance.
Toilets
We didn't use the public loos. Room loo had plenty of space and handrails, and alarm card reached the floor.
Staff
Staff were lovely and helpful from receptionists, waiters (remembered dietary needs and willing to collect dishes from the buffet if you have mobility problems in the cramped restaurant), porters to help with luggage going to and from cars.
