Overview
A very nicely prepared and presented full breakfast is provided at Studley, very enjoyable, and what is good, is that you have the same seat you use each time you visit Market Kitchen restaurant and showroom, so there is no need to be waiting around after you let your name be known at the restaurants reception. PHOTOS 1 to 4 ================ The early morning dawn awoke us to a cold brisk frosty scene of the April morning, enchanting scenery across the estate towards Studley village overlooked by a full “pink moon” as it is known at this time of year in 2025. PHOTOS 5 and 6 ================= Leaving your room, you again need to walk to the Bar lounge, and through to enter the showroom and its restaurant “Market Kitchen” Let yourself be known at the desk, and be taken to your reserved table PHOTO 7 ================= You will always be seated at the table allocated to you when first visiting the showroom, and this will be yours every time you use the showroom PHOTOS 8 to 10 ================== Pick up a plate from the first counter, and then help yourself to the very generous breakfast dishes on offer. The queue is generally not to long, but we recommend you selecting the same time each morning to eat, as they then allocate so many tables for that time, otherwise if you don’t pick your time and just arrive then you may have to join a queue. PHOTOS 11 to 16 ================== There is a very nice breakfast on offer, and you just select whatever takes your fancy. All the breakfast menu is part of your inclusive dinning experience for your whole stay.
Transport & Parking
Easy enough to get here, not to far from the M5 / M42, and along fast roads. Parking is on hard compressed chippings, but no allocated disabled bays, just park as close as you can to the castle. It’s a bit of a push for your carer and wheelchair, so would be best to drive up to the castle entrance, drop you off, then the driver could go and park the car. We give just 3.5 stars as we found it difficult to push the chair along the paths to get to the castle, and would not fancy the push if cold and wet, but if your driver dropped your party off at the entrance, then it would be so much easier for you all. The driver may not agree when facing the weather, but your visit will make it all worth while.
Access
Ramps will take you up to the castle entrance, and reception desk is just inside, then it’s all nice and level through the whole complex, with lifts proved if staying on a break here. There are places for you to stop and rest as you explore the castle and its modern buildings housing rooms and entertainment areas. Outside also have seating areas for you to enjoy those warm sunny days.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is close enough to the bar and restaurants, along well kept wide passages, and large enough to take almost all wheelchairs and scooters, ( do enquire beforehand about large scooters ) It is well maintained, very clean, grab rails and pull cords provided, and wheelchairs can spin inside the room. Just about enough room for carer to give you minimum help.
Staff
Staff for breakfast were all quiet and to busy to have time to talk
