It’s simply delightful when away on a break to sometimes just sit and relax with a good book, or catch up with your IPad, and a cool glass of your favourite tipple close at hand. PHOTOS 1 to 10 ============ At Studley, one lounge you may enjoy could be the Bar lounge, with its comfortable seating, easy on the eye decorations, and something on the TV that may appeal. General its set on the news channel, but staff will willing change stations if a sports programme you want to watch is showing on one of the other channels. PHOTOS 11 to 16 ============= When the bottom gets sore, take a stroll across the hall and visit the Brasserie32 for a light lunch, or further drinks, the choice is yours, you are on holiday. PHOTOS 17 to 20 ============= After all that drinking, a toilet break may be just the thing you need, and they are only short walk away from the restaurants.

Fascinating original castle lounges beautifully restored that will encourage you to view and relax for a short while perhaps taking a coffee break during your morning. PHOTOS ONE AND TWO ==================== When Entering the castle you will find reception desk on your right, where one or two verypolite and helpful staff will give you all the support and advice you will need to know about your stay here. Bear in mind though, that they are usually very busy and it takes quite a while for them to settle each guest in, so if you leave one person in the queue why not step inside and take a look at the other rooms in this original and old part of the castle. PHOTO 3 =================== Ahead of you as you enter the castle, a seating stands at the centre of the semi circular room, with Three original lounges and passageways that lead off towards the bedrooms of the estate, which comprise of “The Oak room, Hideaway, and Garden room” PHOTOS 4, 5 and 6 =================== “The Oak room” is where you will enjoy a coffee break during the morning, and later on a afternoon tea, but first of all, look around the three lounges, and particularly Look up at the ceiling at the heart of the lounges, a really lovely view above you. PHOTOS 7 to 11 “THE OAK ROOM” One of the three original lounges of the old castle, beautifully restored, in this old Victorian mansion. It still has its historical charm, now mixed with modern facilities. This is one of the popular rooms of the old part of the castle, with its delightful wooden beams, picture frames of golden furnished frames. The cups on display add a real charm to the room. It’s a pleasant place to relax in, the drinks are very well made, and of course it’s here you enjoy any afternoon tea you have pre-booked. The chairs are reasonably comfortable, and the view through the windows towards the grounds offer the charm of the fresh green grass and shrubbery that helps the body and mind to unwind. PHOTOS 12 to 15 ================== GARDEN ROOM. Directly opposite The Oak room, you will enter the nicely decorated “Garden Room” this is a very interesting quiet place to enjoy reading your favourite book of the day, while relaxing in one of its softly cushioned sofas or a high backed chair. Each wall is lined with Flamingoes either in wooden frames, or as a wallpaper wall. It is a pleasant escape, worth going to see. The soft lightening hints of gold, lovely chandeliers highlight its historical period, and the carpet has been selected well to bring to life the whole room. PHOTOS 16 to 20 ================== HIDEAWAY This most unusual card and board game room is fascinating, objects that will enthrall you. See old historical machines, unusual metal art transformed into practical fun loving items. Most unusual, all shown in this oak wood panelled walled room, dark ceiling, items enclosed in wooden boxes, all to impress you of what can be done with metal objects. Most interesting of the three rooms.

Delightful buffet experience taken in the main showroom before the evening show. Because dinner is taken before the show itself, this buffet can be very busy, with sometimes long queues sp patience is needed. The selection each night is varied, of very good quality and a fair selection. Deserts can be good, with a large selection of cheese and biscuits, fruit, and the ice cream is delicious with an outstanding selection, so all in all, if you want to queue then dinner will be worthwhile.
