Overview
The main entrance has heavy doors but these are mostly left open. Access to the lift is at the back of the store on the left passed the children's book section. Top floor has an access toilet The entrance is wide and on the same level. Inside moving around in a wheelchair is easy due to the wide isles between the displays. The lift is at the back and is easy to enter. Upstairs there is a coffee shop and chairs and tables that can be moved so to join friends and family. I do not use a wheelchair but have seen the staff offer their support if needed.
Transport & Parking
The bookshop is in the middle of the pedestrian area not too far from public transport and car parks. There is no parking near the store due to it been a pedestrian area.
Access
The entrance has heavy doors which are often left open, there is no call button outside so you would be dependant on someone opening the doors if they are closed.
Toilets
The toilets are on the first floor via a lift at the back of the store. When you exit the lift the accessible loo is in front of you. The facilities are what you would expect with the hand rail and a pull cord. There is the flip down baby changing table but no hoist for wheelchair users.
