What are gestures and how do we use them to communicate?
Artist Marianne Holm Hansen and Curator Orlagh Woods are carrying out a residency in Wellcome Collection's Reading Room to investigate how an awareness of nonverbal communication may enable us all to have more inclusive conversations. Join them for a workshop involving collaborative exercises, drawing activities and discussions to examine and share your experience of what gestures can communicate.

We’ll be in the Reading Room on level 2. When you enter Wellcome Collection, head up the stairs or take the lift, then follow the signs.
