In the heart of London's West End, Wigmore Hall is one of the world’s great concert halls, specialising in chamber and instrumental music, early music and song. Now approaching its 115th birthday, Wigmore Hall is livelier than ever, offering music-making of outstanding quality and an array of activities in the broader community. With its infectious sense of adventure, it consistently captures the public imagination and broadens its audiences’ horizons. The Hall also has its own award-winning record label, and regularly broadcasts concerts on BBC Radio 3.
The Box Office and Auditorium are on the ground floor and are accessible from the main entrance on Wigmore Street. The main front doors are not automatic or push pad doors but staff are on hand to assist visitors. All other public areas of the Hall, including the Restaurant and toilets, are accessible by lift, with the exception of the Auditorium Balcony up to which there are 24 steps.
