Overview
A very nice, attractive, well stocked garden centre. You should be able to park reasonably close to main entrance, with just a slight uphill slope, but it’s all level inside, and we liked the fact that there is plenty of room in most areas to get your scooter along. The quality of garden plants was excellent, well looked after, and garden items were also of good quality. The store itself has top quality goods on offer, bit pricey though. The restaurant is rather small, with a fair menu but basic, and seating was comfortable, although you will need to find a spot to place a wheelchair. Overall though, this is one of the better garden centres, thus our high marks.
Transport & Parking
Good car parking for disabled, not many bays, but easy enough if you have to park other areas near the door.
Access
Slight slope to get up from car park To the main entrance, carer will cope easy enough though, then it’s level throughout, with nice wide level isles. Cafe small, but very nice, seating and spaces for wheelchairs were reasonable.
Toilets
Ordinary cubicles adapted for disabled, and small and tight inside, most wheelchairs may cope, but we doubt if it would be of any use to a large power chair.
Staff
Seemed ok, but really had very little to do with them, so it’s hard to advice.
