Getting Here

Park and Ride buses stop directly outside the York Museum Gardens on Museum Street, with local buses stopping close by on St Leonard's Place. York Railway Station is a short distance away and there are buses and taxi's available from directly outside the station. The station is also a drop-off point for regional and national buses.

Parking

There is no parking at the museum. Cars can drop off at the front of the Yorkshire Museum by prior arrangement. The closest parking is the Marygate car park located on Frederick Street, York, YO30 7DT. Marygate is off Bootham, the A19, which is the main road into York from the north. Free parking for blue badge holders is available immediately outside the car park, located between the entry and exit points.
