1 reviewYork Explore is a library and archive service in the centre of York. Come and visit us and borrow books, use a computer, research family history and more. We have a warm, spacious and welcoming cafe on the ground floor. All access to the library and cafe is on the ground floor, the entrance to library is via large automatic doors. The archives and local history department is on the first floor and be accessed by a lift. There are two disabled parking spaces outside the library. Buses number 2 and 2a Park and Ride and the First York Buses 5 and 5a stop on Museum Street a minute or two away from the Library. There is a changing places toilet on the ground floor and further toilets including a disabled toilet on the first floor.
