A blog post by Euan's Guide about being shortlisted for the Tech for Good Award at the UK Tech Awards 2023. They announced their shortlist on Friday. The UK Tech Awards celebrate success, reward achievement, and raise the profile of the UK tech community. As a charity whose growth and success depends on technology, we’re thrilled to have been shortlisted in the Tech for Good Award. The UK Tech Awards provide a fantastic showcase for the technology sector as well as a great networking opportunity – with an attendance of over 700 people who work in tech, it’s a brilliant opportunity for Euan’s Guide. The purpose of the Tech for Good award is to recognise non-financial contributions to society through the use of technology. The winner of this award will be an organisation that has harnessed the power of technology to deliver beneficial social, cultural and/or environmental outcomes. The awards take place in London on Thursday 9 November. Check out the full shortlist on the UK Tech Awards website.
