A blog post by disabled access charity Euan's Guide to say there are just a few days until The Big Event by Motability Operations and we really hope we’ll see you at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 September. We’ll be there to tell people what it is we do here at Euan’s Guide, from our disabled access review website www.EuansGuide.com to our Red Cord Card scheme and, of course, the UK’s largest Access Survey… which launches at the event on Friday 15 September!

Euan's Guide features in the latest episode of The Scotman’s Sustainable Scotland podcast, which has been produced in partnership with Motability Operations, the company that runs the Motability car, powered wheelchair and scooter scheme. The charity and Paul Ralph were in conversation with the CEO of Motability Operations, Andrew Miller. The episode covers the inevitable move to electric vehicles, and the growing concern that ensues for many disabled people now that a UK-wide ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars is scheduled for 2030.

On International Day of Charity Euan's Guide is taking the opportunity to remind their friends and followers that they’re a small charity. They rely on voluntary income so they can continue their work in making it easier, safer and more rewarding for disabled people to find and visit accessible places.
