5* Multi Award Winning, Self-Catering accommodation with hot tubs and stunning views. Airhouses is a family run, friendly collection of 7 properties on a 33 acre working farm, just 40 mins south of Edinburgh off the A68. Three of our properties have Category 2 Disabled Access (assisted access) as defined by Visit Scotland. Those have level entry, wet room shower, wide doorways, and light switches as wheelchair height etc. Have a look at the Capercaillie, The Lamont and the Ramsay. The properties have stunning views over hills and farmland, have private accessible decking areas and are very peaceful. All the properties are situated to ensure privacy and we have rules that keep airhouses tranquil and peaceful. All properties have hot tubs and are furnished to a very high standard. The lodges are private and we will interact with you as much or as little as you like! We are a neurodiverse family so understand the stresses going on holiday can cause and are happy to help in anyway.

Disabled Access Information for Airhouses

Disabled Access at Airhouses

Our three properties that have Category 2 disabled have Level entry access from car throughout. Wet Room Showers on ground level. Wide doorways. Moveable ramps for entry and to decking areas. Additional equipment can be requested when booking such as shower chairs etc, and we work with an equipment hire company for any more specialised equipment. Our other properties are less suitable for anyone with mobility challenges but are excellent for people looking for a quite, peaceful escape. We have 3d tours of the property available on our website and lots of pictures and videos on social media. We are happy to provide bespoke videos of any area of the farm if that would help anyone in your party feel more comfortable.

Private car parking next to each lodge and flat access or ramp to lodge/house.

Dedicated on-site parking

On-site accessible parking bays are available within 50 metres of the entrance.

Toilets features at Airhouses

The category 2 properties have wide doorways and lower toilets, a toliet seat can be requested. However they do not have grab bars on the walls.

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
