I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, accessing toilets, dexterity or coordination and moving around.

There are good disabled access features located at this store, with friendly and helpful staff.

The entrance/exit to the store have double automatic doors with a good sized foyer between them, making it easy to get inside and maneouver. There are wide aisles in the store and most items (not top shelf) are relatively easy to access from a wheel/powerchair.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
There is a good sized car park with ample disabled spaces alongside standard spaces and, parent and child parking. The disabled spaces are located at the front of the store and have easy access to the store via a dropped kerb. There are links to public transport a short distance away.

There is a disabled bathroom located next to the self-service checkouts that is easily accessed. It is clean and has plenty of transfer space with grab rails and an easy to use lock on the door.

Staff
Excellent
Staff are always very friendly in Aldi and are happy to help with any needs you may have. They slow down for people with disabilities to enable them to transfer from the checkout to trolley easier.
