Overview

As a volunteer at Alternative Camp, I've seen how inclusive it is. The main facility has two accessible entrances with large sliding doors, and it's located on an organic olive farm. They provide healthy meals with some veggies straight from the garden. Volunteers receive training on how to approach PWD, and they've also created a free mobile app for learning Turkish Sign Language. In the mornings, you can take part in outdoor activities like stretching or yoga. In the evenings, it's common to enjoy music performances, where everyone joins in singing together. Moreover, it's just a half-hour drive from the nearest city. They offer all the important details on how to reach the camp, and they're incredibly friendly and willing to provide transportation if needed.
