Where The Dreams Come True

I am a volunteer of Dreams Academy and the Alternative Life Assosiation for so long and this place is the new facilty of the Dreams Academy. The place creates a sustainable and accesible living area for everyone coming for the camps. I have attended the last camp of the Sustainable Development Camps this year and there were many volunteers and also participants who has mental or physical disabilities. The facility was accessible for all of the participants and everybody attended all of the activities together. It was really memorable for the both volunteers and participants like all of the camps that AYDER has made so far and I think that Urla will be a hosting many more wonderful ideas and creations in itself.

I've seen how inclusive it is.

As a volunteer at Alternative Camp, I've seen how inclusive it is. The main facility has two accessible entrances with large sliding doors, and it's located on an organic olive farm. They provide healthy meals with some veggies straight from the garden. Volunteers receive training on how to approach PWD, and they've also created a free mobile app for learning Turkish Sign Language. In the mornings, you can take part in outdoor activities like stretching or yoga. In the evenings, it's common to enjoy music performances, where everyone joins in singing together. Moreover, it's just a half-hour drive from the nearest city. They offer all the important details on how to reach the camp, and they're incredibly friendly and willing to provide transportation if needed.

Experience the convenience and inclusivity of Alternative Camp!

I had the opportunity to visit Alternative Camp Urla this summer. I highly recommend the venue, it would be a great choice for individuals with diverse accessibility needs. Alternative Camp ensures that everyone, regardless of their physical abilities, can enjoy its facilities and events. They have accessible parking space and restrooms. The staff and volunteers at Alternative Camp are not only friendly and accommodating but also well-trained in assisting guests with disabilities. They are always ready to provide guidance, answer questions, and offer any necessary support.
