Overview

Step free access to this small but interesting zoo. Lots of the paths are just compacted earth so can be a bit muddy but well worth a visit.

Transport & Parking

Good sized car park with disabled spaces near zoo entrance. Not tarmac so can get a bit muddy with puddles but was no problem for my mobility scooter. Large ramp to entrance.

Access

Most of the site is accessible although there is a fairly steep hill to the children’s park. Some paths are a little muddy after wet weather but there wasn’t anywhere I couldn’t access.

Toilets

The toilets were clean but I didn’t access the disabled loo.

Staff

Very friendly, not many just walking about .

Anything else you wish to tell us?

It was a nice morning, the cafe isn’t huge so in cold/ bad weather it could get busy. There are places to picnic in nicer weather. Not a huge zoo, with mostly smaller animal species, nice for little ones.
