Overview

I lived in Spain for a while and lived off tapas - the dishes brought back fond memories - lovely food! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I think we picked the right time of day to visit (5ish). We were given a 2 hour time slot and it was certainly busier by the time we left. Very roomy inside but a large obstacle at the entrance meant I couldn't get in without a phone call to ask a member of staff to come out and help - disappointing because they knew I'd be coming at that time in a mobility scooter.

Transport & Parking

I parked 5 minutes away in Monk Bar car park which boasts 40 disabled bays. There is a cobbled surface outside the restaurant.

Access

A large metal object with a wooden top which I think was an outside tall table(?) stopped me from entering so I needed to make a phone call for 2 members of staff to move it. Once inside it was certainly roomy enough for my compact scooter - no impediment to getting around. There's room for a large mob scooter, I'm sure.

Toilets

Grab rails, emergency cord, clean and tidy, room to access BUT combined with a baby change - one of my bug-bears!

Staff

Early dinner period had 2 university students. Our server - Jasmine, I think she was called - explained details of the dishes and how to order online which was tricky for this dinosaur! I did the usual face-to-face ordering.
