Electric wheelchair rental in Costa Dorado
Absolutely fantastic service, I rented an electric wheelchair to avoid taking mine abroad in case the airline damaged it. The chair I was provided with was fantastic for the terrain and enabled me to go wherever I wanted independently. The gentleman Frederico met me at the hotel lobby at the time arranged and as he was running late we left the chair in the lobby with reception for collection. I am quite small and of course rental chairs are generally larger than ones I require but we found it very easy to use pillows and my own cushions from my manual wheelchair to make it suitable - however it maybe necessary that certain extra cushions are taken to make the chairs fit every individual. The chair we hired was a Terra which I'd not heard of before but was definitely the best electric wheelchair I've hired abroad. It had a great range, managed small kerbs and bumps with ease, had a small wheelbase with great turning circle and fitted on all the buses easily. It definitely made the holiday a holiday for all. I'd definitely recommend Amigo 24 for any electric wheelchair hire in the future if we end up in an area that they operate in. They also hire out manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters as well as other mobility and disability aids which can be incredibly handy and helpful whilst away on holiday.
