Overview
I visited Aspire whilst an inpatient at Stanmore Hospital. It is fully wheelchair accessible the pool has pool chairs and a ramp into the pool, the gym has movable bits so wheelchair users can still use equipment. All the staff I met were really helpful and friendly. There is a small cafe on site.
Transport & Parking
The carpark has amply disabled parking
Access
It is straight wheel through for wheelchairs, there are stairs to 1st floor and there is also a lift. There are seats for a rest also very helpful staff
Toilets
The toilet had space to move wheelchair around in. It had grab rails and was clean.
Staff
Staff were really helpful, were ready to give directions and info
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would recommend Aspire to anyone who could get there or lives nearby. We are to far away to take advantage of it.
