Edit: in the last two weeks, this coffee shop has got a ramp and a button. Although the button is just a door bell they are likely to be able to see you if you wave at the window or just appear. The ramp is new and they do need a little training on the ramp, perhaps but it's good to see that they're trying. This is a lovely coffee shop and a welcoming LGBT space. Unfortunately, the coffee grinder and steamer can be quite loud, and there is often music playing. There is a step into the café, with further steps leading up to a seating area at the back where a singular toilet is which is not wheelchair accessible. The toilet is very cramped, even for an able bodied person.. However, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The coffee is excellent and brought to mind the grungey post-punk coffee scene of the 90s and early 2000s. The coffee beans are sourced from a local roastery, and the oat milk for my oat milk latte was produced in East Lothian, by Brose Oat Milk. I don't think that the oat milk is gluten free. There are vegan options. If you are sensitive to noise, this might not be the ideal place for you. On a sunny day, it is possible to sit outside on a leaning arrangement rather than tables and chairs, by leaning against the window, which I was unable to do as I have a cane but may be an option for fellow wheelchair users.

There are a large number of bus routes which pass close to this shop. Lothian, bus 5 and 12 being closest. There is also a nice wool shop next door however, that has a step.
