There is a step at the entrance. The restaurant has no wheelchair ramp. I was not able to get in. Zero stars.

Parking & Transport
Average
There are no step-free stations nearby, though Tottenham Court Road station may be step-free some time in late 2016. Several bus routes will drop you nearby in Shaftesbury Avenue or Charing Cross Road.
Accessible Toilets

Staff
0The staff told me they don't have a wheelchair ramp and they don't have an accessible toilet. They did not seem to feel that these were important problems. Not impressed.
Additional Information
It is extraordinary and disgraceful that a restaurant as popular and well-known as this one, in such a busy and vibrant area, should ignore its legal obligations to wheelchair users - obligations which have existed since 1995. There has been plenty of time to make the necessary adaptations but Balans has not bothered.
