Can you spot one of our wild beavers? The lochs at Barnluasgan are home to some of Scotland's newest animal residents. Families of beaver have spent the last decade building lodges and dams, creating a unique wetland landscape in the heart of Argyll.

Excellent access to the wild trail around the Loch

Spent a great couple of hours around the Loch. Didnt get to see any beavers as it was mid afternoon as apparantly they usually come out early morning and evening.

    Knapdale Scottish beaver trail, Barnluasgan

Loch Barnluasgan was accessible in my electric wheelchair all the way around this Loch, beautiful scenery and a chance to see the Knapdale beavers.
