    Battersea Arts Centre Access

I visited to see a workshop production of 13 Going On 30 The Musical! It's a lovely little hidden gem of a theatre. There is a bar/cafe that serves drinks and snacks as well as some hot food options like sausage rolls and sandwiches, with vegan options.

Disabled Access Information Provided by Battersea Arts Centre

Disabled Access at Battersea Arts Centre

Our venue has 2 ramps at the Main entrance alongside lit handrails, and normally a powered door/ramp at the Scratch Bar entrance on Town Hall Rd (cafe ramp/door currently closed for building works). We welcome working dogs and our Café Bar can provide water bowls, if required. A large lift offers easy access to all floors, making almost the whole building accessible to wheelchair users, and we have accessible toilets across the building. Our every year, 90% the performances across all of our programming are 'relaxed' and we have a Chill-Out Space on the first-floor that is open whenever the building is.

Accessible parking at Battersea Arts Centre

Parking is normally available on Town Hall Road, which is a private road alongside the building, running off Lavender Hill. Spaces are very limited and allocated on a first-come first-served basis, but you can contact our Box Office for directions and help.

Toilets features at Battersea Arts Centre

We have two accessible toilets on the Ground Floor at the front of our building, and further ones on every floor, as well as an accessible bathroom and bedroom for our resident artists. We are aiming to improve these facilities during 2017 as a number of them exist within rooms which are not as spacious as we would like to provide.
