The Beecroft Gallery has moved to the former library in Southend. Easy access and plenty of room to get around once you are inside.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Automatic doors and level access make things easy. Inside there is plenty of space to move around. Access to the upper floors is by a smallish, but manageable lift. Access to the lower ground floor is by a glass lift. This wasn't working when we arrived but the very helpful staff soon managed to get it working and were very apologetic.
Parking & Transport
Excellent
The website clearly explains how to find the disabled parking. You do need to look at this before you go as it is tucked away but makes for easy access. There are only two disabled spaces.
Staff
Excellent
All the staff were very helpful and came to let us know as soon as they had got the glass lift going.
Additional Information
There is a shop area where you can buy old fashioned postcards and small gifts.
