Very hilly but good views of some animals.

I am a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: moving around and speaking or communicating.

Bad

Great zoo with some good views of the animals. There are peacocks wandering around freely so be careful when driving. For us, the lions and cheetahs had the best views. Very hilly, so make sure you have plenty of charge on your chair. They do a carer ticket for free, it says on the website you have to provide proof that you need a carer ticket but they didn’t ask me for that.

The zoo is very hilly, with some steep inclines throughout. The pathways are otherwise very wide and smooth. There were a few seating areas around the zoo.

Parking & Transport

Excellent

Plenty of parking, including disabled parking, without height restriction, specifically for the zoo.

Accessible Toilets

Good

Does have a changing places toilet right at the entrance, unfortunately I didn’t use it.
