Bad
As a wheelchair user I can get inside but don't have a choice of many seats as the majority are downstairs. Luckily, it wasn't busy when I ate there last. There is no accessible toilet which is poor considering most people don't rush meals and it is in the shadow of the castle. The nearest toilet I can "access" is next door (in the Thai restaurant). However, it is a conventional men's toilet which most wheelchair users won't get into. If you don't allow this to deter you I shall give you great credit and the food and service is good.
Disabled Access In and Around
Bad
It's more inaccessible than accessible. I can get in through the front door which is something I guess. You may call me soft or a romantic but it is a nice, characterful place. Besides everything, I am glad I went.
Parking & Transport
Poor
This area is always likely to be busy. To be assured of a parking space you need to know the town. Either that or luck is on your side. I'd advise public transport - just aim for the castle.
Accessible Toilets
0This question is not really applicable. There isn't an accessible toilet and all the others are downstairs.
Staff
Excellent
It would be unfair to fault the staff. They don't like the fact the restaurant is inaccessible. They were attentive and engaging. They don't let the restaurant down.
