The only accessible canal cruise in Amsterdam

We were in Amsterdam for a couple of days and bought an I-Amsterdam card. This allows you to travel on most public transport, get into most museums and attractions and to enjoy one canal cruise. I almost ignored the canal cruise, as they are rarely wheelchair accessible, but fortunately I found the Blue Boat Company. The cruise was excellent and the boat was very accessible. This is the only company in Amsterdam that do wheelchair accessible cruises.
Disabled Access In and Around

Wheelchair access is at the back of the boat. They have a platform lift which goes up to the edge of the boat and then a ramp to get you over the gap between the boat and the jetty. Staff are available to help. There is a small outdoor area but mostly the seating area is inside. The back two tables have moveable chairs and staff will help with that. There was plenty of room to settle my assistance dog next to me. The cruise has an audio guide. You can plug in your own headphones or they provide ear buds. You can select your language. The cruise takes 75 minutes.

I travelled to this place by tram
We took the tram from our campsite into Amsterdam. We got off at the Rijksmuseum and then walked/wheeled along the canal side to the Blue Boat Company. They have two offices/jetties: one opposite the Hard Rock Cafe (that one is wheelchair accessible) and another opposite the Heineken Experience (which is not accessible).

Good
I knew there was a toilet on board but when I saw where it was, I thought it couldn't possibly be accessible. I was surprised! It isn't huge... but it is big enough for a manual wheelchair and it had grab rails. It was adequate for the situation and I was very grateful to have it available.
