Disabled Traveller tops up EV car and takes final breakfast
Getting ready to depart the castle visit, we topped up our EV car, by leaving the car park and heading towards the main castle entrance, then turned left to drive along castle walls, and reach the corner of the castle, turned right and drove just a few yards to a castle entrance on the right, signed for the Royale Room car park.
Inside we found four EV charging points on the left, and started the charge.
Leave the car there, and walk back towards the car parks, and then enter the reception area, before walking up ramp to reception desk area, and then entered the St David’s restaurant. You can then go directly to the table you have used for dinner, and enjoy the quite good selection of breakfast food available, which included kippers, and freshly made pancakes. Fruit is available and The hot food counter offered well prepared dishes, and we were quite satisfied with the selection on offer.
Then it was time to depart our Bodelwyddan castle break.
==================
OUR FINAL THOUGHTS.
Disappointing, as we felt that this has more of a holiday village feel about it, far to crowded for comfort, food not quite up to the usual standard, staff certainly not happy about their lot on life, and the general atmosphere very flat.
The show room did nothing for us, certainly not designed for disabled people and as it’s a small room, far too loud and noisy.
Sadly we would not recommend Bodelwyddan castle to you.
