A pleasant hour or so can be enjoyed walking through the walled gardens, although it’s a bit hard for a wheelchair user or their carer, because there’s so many paths of compressed ground to get across, but visitors in good health will have the benefit of seeing everything the gardens provide. Most of the garden can be enjoyed if you can cope with a few low small steps, but it won’t stop disabled from seeing most of the delightful areas of mixed shrubs and trees.
