Bodnant Garden

What we could see was beautiful, but there was a lot we couldn't access. There is very little that is level and we're there are slopes, they are quite or very steep. We were given a map on entry with the step free route, but it was difficult to find it in all places

My husband is in a wheelchair and we came here especially because it promoted accessibility in the NT book. Straight away there is a ramped descending passageway...despite asking at the car park entrance about level ground I wasn't told about this! Once inside, the only area we could get to was the lovely herb garden and lawns around it. Such a beautiful garden and he was unable to enjoy it. Please have more informed staff who understand the needs of wheelchair users. It is a wonderful place but we left very disappointed.
