Inaccessible toilets

Overview
Helpful staff, but totally inaccessible toilets
Transport & Parking
The parking doesn't belong to the store, but the disabled parking for the shopping centre is excellent, with numerous dedicated spaces out the front (close to the store), and also a large number of dedicated spaces in the attached multi-story car park
Access
Automatic doors to get into the shop, wide aisles and relatively low desks at the tills. The lift at the back is a little small, but easy to get to and well signposted.
Toilets
The dedicated disabled toilet was abysmal. There were large piles of storage boxes outside the door which made access for an able bodied person difficult, and totally impossible for a wheelchair-user! The room itself was very small, and although it was accessed by a radar key, had an emergency pull cord, and a handle to aid transfers, the likelihood of it actually being usable was slim. The room also lacked a bed and hoist, and the floor was very dirty.
Staff
Very helpful with everything except the toilet issue - directed us to a 'nearby' toilet with a hoist - over half a mile walk away
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The Boots store and staff were great, but the toilet situation was unacceptable.
