    Bramley House Self Catering Accommodation

    About

I am the proprietor of Bramley House, A house which I designed and built on the grounds of a 17th century walled garden, for my elderly parents 10 years ago. When designing it I factored in their declining mobility and that they may require assistance with accessibility as they aged. The house served both my parents well...my mother required a wheel chair and use of the wet room and my father 91, required the elevator during their time at Bramley House. It is a 5 bedroom house and can sleep 10 people. 4 bathrooms-with one a wet room with wheeled shower chair commode and a mobileBirdie 180 hoist-all neatly stored away when not in use. 3 living reception rooms. large modern fully equipped kitchen and diner with adjacent utility room with laundry facilities. Hotel sized 5 person elevator. Accessible patio areas with outdoor dining. Private 17h century walled garden with steps with hand railings to grassed area and Bramley apple tree. Gated at the front by large electric gate and lockable side gates to the garden at the rear for peace of mind from the village traffic. It is the ideal getaway being so close to numerous tourist attractions: Game of thrones studio tour & The Boulevard outlet shopping Mall, the largest in Ireland, only 2km away. The Village has surface accessible walks and park, bus stops to both Dublin and Belfast 100yards from the front door...a village coffee shop, eurospar grocery shop, ATM, petrol station, postoffice, wine store, hairdresser, traditional pub and restaurant, doctors, pharmacy and a few very old and beautiful churches. Just a scoot down the road are the scenic coastal towns of Warrenpoint and Rostrevor, with their traditional music and numerous pubs and food house to choose from. The Mourne mountains can be seen "sweeping down to the sea" and across the bay is the historic medieval town of Carlingford....so much to do and see, all on the door step of Bramley House.
