I am a carer or friend of a disabled person. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, hearing and moving around.

Excellent

We went on a full tour of the Britannia Pier. For a start could not believe how clean it was. They were doing lots of work to it to keep the pier up to date and you could tell. The Pier is ready for a full season ahead with many acts booked to appear on there. It was nice to look out from the Pier and see a wonderful view over Great Yarmouth. I would say that this place is Disability friendly. The Staff that we saw were friendly and the Pier itself is Wheelchair and Mobility Scooter friendly. It can get very packed though in Sunmer months.

Disabled Access In and Around

Excellent

Again, great at the time we visited with lots of space to move around. But in the Summer Months, can get packed and even though the Pier is Disability friendly may be hard with using a Mobility Scooter l.

Parking & Transport

Excellent

We went at a quieter time so it was easier to park near the Pier and it was not that expensive either. However in Summer months I imagine it can be hectic
