Overall Rating

Disappointing. The hotel is on the hillside approached by a steep road. Hotel accessibility poor. Most of the sculpture park inaccessible without full mobility. Nice place for morning coffee if you can park.

Disabled Access In and Around

Ramp into hotel gallery/cafe. Difficult steps, no rails, into hotel main entrance. Uneven floors but no steps inside.

Parking & Transport

Only accessible by car. Limited parking by hotel (unmarked). If you can’t park by the hotel forget it as the main car park is on the valley floor and you’ll never get up the steep road - even with a mobility scooter.

Staff

Lovely staff but hamstrung by the unsuitability of the building. Lovely morning coffee (and the waitress also found a GF biscuit for gluten intolerant husband.)

Additional Information

If you can accept the limitations of the site, there is some nice art inside in the restaurant, cafe and gallery. Some sculptures are viewable at the hotel and main car park levels, but most are in grassy locations, on slopes and up/down natural steps. A good place for morning coffee if you’re in the area and have some measure of mobility.
