    Browsholme Hall

    About

Browsholme Hall is a nationally important Grade I listed historic house with a preeminent collection of historically associated antiques, paintings and furniture of museum quality. Over five hundred years old, it is lived in by the sixteenth generation of the Parker family who built it in 1507. Browsholme Hall is not a museum and our guided tours illustrate a living history of the house as well as encapsulating the lifestyle and the survival of one family in Lancashire. Set within the Forest of Bowland, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Hall is surrounded by ‘picturesque’ gardens and parkland that invites visitors to relax and wander in unspoiled countryside, with lakes, woodland and views to the distant Fells. Our Tithe Barn serves as a visitor welcome centre, tea room, event venue and conference centre. Please contact us or visit our website for further information and open dates.
