Brunstane Burn Path

Brunstane Burn Path is a nice meander through the trees next to the burn. There’s a tarmac path to follow and it’s pretty smooth except for a few tree roots causing ripples in a couple of places. Some sections are a little steep so good to go do when you’ve got some energy!

It’s a pretty smooth route except for the aforementioned tree roots.

Parking & Transport

We did the path from Joppa towards Portobello. This begins opposite the Booker Cash & Carry and ends up at Brunstane Rail station.

No loos en route!

Additional Information

The path generally is a good place to walk or wheel along, particularly at weekends when Portobello Prom can be really busy.
