Burlton Cottages & Spa comprises four Award winning luxurious self catering holiday cottages sleeping 2/2/4/6, they can be booked individually or as a group of 14 people in total. Barn Owl View that sleeps 6 was designed specifically with accessibility guests in mind and is rated M3A by Visit England, it opened in 2022. New to the Burlton holiday cottage portfolio Barn Owl View is a wonderful 5 Star Gold Awarded three-bedroom retreat lodge, sat on its own with views across open Shropshire countryside. Built with comfort and style in mind, Barn Owl View has open-plan living and three ensuite bedrooms. Floor to ceiling doors allows the outside to be brought in, perfect for guests that need to enjoy a relaxing time in the country. From the lounge there is a smooth transition onto the terrace to soak in the fresh air and green surroundings. Barn Owl View is perfect for guests who have accessibility requirements. It has been awarded M3A (suitable for assisted wheelchair users) by the Visit England National Accessible Scheme. Tastefully included in the kitchen are electrically operated height-adjusted work top, hob and wall units. There are heat resistant pull out drawers under the microwave and slide and glide oven. Under the sink can be opened out to allow wheelchair access. One bedroom is accessibility-friendly with an ensuite bathroom with a wetroom shower, wheelchair access under the sink and modern grab rails. Accessibility features with style and a luxurious feel. All bedrooms can be either twin or super king-sized bed. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome; we appreciate they need a holiday too! The Spa is complimentary to use during your stay. This comprises a 12 metre indoor swimming pool heated to 30 degrees and is 1.3m deep across the pool. There is a wet room bathroom within the ground floor Spa building. There is also a hot tub, sauna, steam room, relaxation beds and gym. Each cottage has two hours exclusive use of the Spa and pool each day of their stay. There is accessible concrete paths for guests staying in Barn Owl View leading to The Spa complex. All furniture can be moved to suit guests requirements, floor plans and a map of the site are available on the website. Guests can request accessibility equipment to borrow during their stay such as a self propelled shower wheelchair. The owners, Rachel and Gerry live on site so are on hand should you need assistance but respect your space if not needed. All beds in all of the properties can be superking or twin bedded rooms. The Courtyard (sleeps 4) and The Stable (sleeps 2) are ground floor properties and The Granary (sleeps 2) is accessed via outdoor steps. These are not accessibility rated and there is a 10 metre gravel path from these three properties to the Spa building.
