Good
Not necessarily easy but perfectly possible. Do your homework and phone the booking office. I got a very helpful lady. Train staff overcame problems. I was travelling solo using an electric wheelchair. Kymco K-activ (for info NOT as a particular recommendation)
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
Space is tight! A wheelchair user in accessible room J6 is isolated there as the corridors either way are very narrow. DO CHECK for yourself that I am right about this. Accessible room J2 is not isolated by narrow corridors. Again DO CHECK that I am right about this.
Parking & Transport
Good
Euston UNDERGROUND does not have lifts. I 'walked' from St Pancras. I found the website difficult and so rang Caledonian Sleeper helpline - they were exceedingly helpful even when I had to change dates.
Accessible Toilets
Good
I walked the two steps to the accessible toilets rather than attempt to manoeuvre in my wheelchair.
Staff
Excellent
Everywhere I sought it the staff were helpful. There were problems but staff sorted them out very satisfactorily.
Additional Information
Do contact the helpline and CHECK THINGS out. I travelled out of season and so the staff were able to provide alternative accommodation - what it would be like at a busy time I do not know. Prices vary throughout the year. I paid £35 each way for a wheelchair space (and automatically an additional carers seat) in the reclining seat area - although I ended up being upgraded both ways.
