Calico House Respite Service

Calico House is a 5 bedroom luxury respite care service for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex care needs. Calico House is nestled at the foot of the Campsie Hills and it's location is within easy access of all local amenities in and around the village of Lennoxtown. In 2023 Calico House was modernised with a full internal refurbishment with features such as passenger lift, and the service has been appointed to the highest specifications to provide a space and welcoming environment for our guests. Calico House combines all the modern facilities required for outstanding respite care within a delightful and tranquil setting. The goal of short stay respite care is not only a rest for the individual and their carers, but also a renewal and refocusing of purpose. Respite care can provide a much needed reinvigoration of their independence. Our guests are welcomed into Calico House and encouraged to participate in our daily program of activities and community, building their confidence and empowering their sense of self.
