We have been going to this Pet Shop for 27 years, the owner is a trusted and well informed adviser for small animals and birds, all of our hamsters, rats and budgies have come from there. Initially through recommendation and word of mouth, we have never been disappointed, our current budgie is 13, the owner has considerable breeder experience and networking knowledge to give sound advice. The shop is all on one level and floor space is limited, but not cramped, it’s often noisy as a boarding service for small animals and birds is available, the shop is located on the westbound of Easter Road, it’s a congested road, narrow in laces, there is parking nearby and in side streets there are pay bays, disabled spaces and blue badge holder parking. There are 3 services that operate on this route, 1, 35 and 200, stops on either side of the road are no more 30m from the shop. A further 14 bus services pass the top of Easter Road at London Road 200m from the shop.

It ‘s a busy shop and space is limited, enough space for a wheelchair, the door is slightly obscured by a counter, but there are bells on the door which alerts the owner who is on hand to help if needed.

It’s a busy and congested road, though the bus service and the assistance for wheelchair and mobility transport make it easier.

The owner comes across as this is not just a job, but a passion and a way of life, cannot be more thoughtful, caring and welcoming.
