Overall Rating
Good
Fully accessible venue. Enter through Senghenydd road, not Park Place to access the music venue. If you apply for the PA ticket through their website you can also apply for early access to the venue and a seat on the accessible balcony. It was very organised up until we actually got onto the accessible balcony. Instead of setting up the seating where it would be chair then wheelchair it was two solid rows of seating and they didn’t send the first wheelchair to arrive to the far side of the seating arrangement we were told to sit anywhere which meant the far side of the seating wasn’t occupied. Otherwise it was a great view of the stage from the balcony.
Disabled Access In and Around
Excellent
Flat access into the waiting area bit then there’s a lift to the accessible balcony. The lift on the right is slightly bigger than the lift on the left but both lifts do accommodate an electric wheelchair. There’s a bar serving hot food and drinks on the accessible balcony. The seating situation on the accessible balcony was a bit chaotic but otherwise the accessibility of this venue is great.
Accessible facilities: Lift to all areas, Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport
Good
I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
Decent street parking on Senghenydd road with enough room to get the lift out of the back of my WAV.
Accessible facilities: Public or on street parking
Accessible Toilets
Average
Unfortunately, I received an email on the day of the event saying the accessible toilet was out of order but alternative arrangements had been made. I need a hoist to go to the toilet so I generally plan my toileting so I don’t have to go when I’m out.
Facilities: Accessible toilet
Staff

The staff downstairs were very organised and escorted people up to the accessible balcony in the order they arrived but the guy on the balcony was frankly lazy. He was telling people to sit anywhere which meant there was no order to where people were sitting.
