A short layover

I spent just over half an hour at Carlisle Railway Station on the way back from Sunderland. While I was between trains I took the chance to scoot around and get some photos for a quick review. I found the station to be relatively accessible and straightforward to navigate.

Changing places loo now available at Carlisle train station

New feature in Carlisle station, also pleased to see it's operated by radar key to prevent misuse. Well done Avanti!

Carlisle train station

The station is wheelchair accessible and has level access. There is currently building works in the station however, they have made appropriate adjustsmants for the time being( ramps up to the bridges). Toilets have dedicated disability friendly stalls which are signposted clearly.
