Castlemilk Community Centre is situated in the heart of Castlemilk and provides lettable spaces for a variety of community groups and activities. The centre is very popular and busy with groups and public accessing the activities on offer and the nursery and cafe. The café within the centre is open to the public and can be used for arranging private catering. The centre also houses a busy children’s nursery. The main hall and other rooms are suitable for hosting events, training sessions and conferences requiring a main area and break out spaces. Various local community galas and fun days are hosted by the centre and a variety of cultural and arts events take place regularly. There is a public exhibition space which is available to people and organisations to highlight their groups’ creative work and/or achievements.

The main entrance has a ramp and rails for easy access and also a stairway. The doors are suitably wide. Most of the building is on one level although there are steps to non-public areas and the stage.
