Good
This Changing Places toilet is ideally placed for those with onward journeys to the islands. Located at the ferry terminal, this toilet block features much of what you'd expect from a CPT. The absence of emergency cords is the main reason this facility isn't rated excellent.
Disabled Access In and Around
Good
A RADAR key is required to enter the building and to open the toilet doors. There is a clearly marked crossing on approach.

Parking & Transport
I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
There is a single large accessible parking bay outside the building. However, cars and vans also queue nearby to board the ferry, so the area can become a bit congested. There are two rapid EV charging bays. The cables are supported, but the bays are no larger than standard parking spaces. It's worth noting that the MV Seaforth, the ferry we took to Stornoway, also has a Changing Places toilet if you can't access the terminal's facility before departure.

Accessible Toilets
Good
The Changing Places toilet is huge, as it should be, with an adjustable changing bed, ceiling track hoist, shower, Closomat toilet, and deep sink with a lever-style tap. There is space to transfer to the toilet from either side and grab rails on either side. There are no rails at the sink, though. The room also has wall hooks and a colostomy shelf is installed to the right of the pan. One thing that struck me as odd is the lack of red cords, particularly as the standard accessible loo nearby has one. The accessible toilet is large enough for powerchairs and wheelchairs but not scooters. There is space for a right-side transfer. The toilet pan has contrasting rails on either side and a contrasting seat. The red cord hangs freely but is too short. The sink has a lever tap, rails on either side, and a mirror above.
