The EV offering at this location is far from impressive. As is often the case accessibility has not been considered. The placement of the terminal makes it difficult to access, the bays are the width of standard parking spaces and the lack of hatched markings means there is a real possibility of being blocked in.

Disabled Access In and Around

The car park is well maintained, with clear signage, two accessible parking spaces and 75 standard spaces. The station has no shops or cafés nearby, and with the limited opening hours of the ticket office, you'd be as well to just sit in the car as you wait to charge.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle

There are two 7 kW Type 2 chargers at the station but the bays are no wider than a standard parking space and the charging unit is on a kerb on a plinth and surrounded by a perimeter rail, which makes them very difficult to use as a wheelchair user or as someone with limited mobility. The additional height also means that the card reader is out of reach for many. The bay width also creates a risk of being blocked in either by cars parked in the standard spaces or by another vehicle charging. Overall it is a pretty poor offering.
