Located on the grounds of the Montrose Sports Centre, the EV chargers are ideally placed for those visiting the centre. The site provides Type 2 (22 kW) charging for two vehicles but accessibility does not appear to have been given a lot of consideration.
Disabled Access In and Around

The charging experience is pretty barebones, but the terminal is not raised on a plinth or blocked by bollards for once. There is a small rail around the middle of the machine but it does not prevent access, which is nice. Cables are not provided and the cable sockets are concealed below panels when not in use. I expect this is to protect against the elements, but it does mean you need to raise the panel with one hand and insert the cable with the other. This might be awkward for some. The card reader can be accessed from a seated height.
Accessible facilities: Single-level venue
Parking & Transport

I travelled to this place by walk or wheel
This location provides facilities to charge two cars with a single terminal supporting 22 kW Type 2 charging. The bays are slightly bigger than a standard parking space and do not have hatched markings on either side. There is a real risk of being boxed in if someone else decides to charge their car at the same time.
Accessible facilities: Electric Vehicle Charging, Dedicated on-site parking
Accessible Toilets
There are accessible toilets and a Changing Places toilet in the nearby sports centre,
Staff
This venue is not staffed.
